This is the most underrated Mexican restaurant in the Triangle area. Their food is outstanding! I especially love their birria tacos. The service is A1 and the atmosphere is friendly. If you haven't visited yet, get going. This place is a gem!

We just called and ordered a burrito to go. Reading yelp reviews we knew it was at the back of a store. It was convenient and authentic. We winded up buying a few items as well. I saw an ice chest with a $2.00 on it next to the food counter opened it up and wa-la, fresh warm tortillas just made. We quickly put the refrigerated ones back and got the fresh ones! Very tasty as we had to try them before our burrito. The burrito was very good too. The guy who served us mentioned their hours and if only we lived on the east coast and nearby...we would come often. Delicious fresh food. Great stop off the highway.

This is a great place to pick up some authentic Mexican food. Everything we have tried has been delicious and their green sauce should be bottled and sold. I put the "stuff" on everything! I highly recommend.

You know it's good when the place is jam packed with Mexican workers on their lunch break! This is located at a gas station so many would be inclined to bypass it however if you want great authentic tacos, tortas, huaraches & agua frescas, definitely make this a pit stop. If you want ambiance, this isn't it. If you want fast authentic Mexican food, you've come to the right place. They're located at the back of the convenience store at a gas station. There's a couple of tables...all were taken when I was there.

I am always happy when I walk into a Mexican restaurant and see tripa and lengua as taco filling options and menudo available on weekends! That is always a great sign and they were definitely good signs for this little hole in the wall restaurant. It is in the back of a gas station and is not fancy in any way, but the food was GREAT! I got an asada huarache and a carnitas taco and both were stellar. Perfectly cooked meat, quality masa, crisp veggies - so good! This gringa could not eat the shockingly spicy salsa rojo that came with the huarache (and I have a really high spice tolerance!), but my Latina lunch companion gave me the salsa verde she thought was too spicy from her order (a pollo huarache) and it was perfect for me - still hot, but not burn your taste buds off hot. I would happily eat here again and only wish it were closer to where I live so I could go often!

Delicious and not expensive. If this quality was located in Raleigh, it would be a $25 meal. Friendly and calm environment. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't judge a book by it's cover! Service was friendly and fast.

I learned about this place from a friend while out at an Event. We planned a time to go since it wasn't far from our house and had lunch there. The place was very unexpected, considering it's a gas station. I ordered an Al Pastor, Carne Asada and a Carnitas taco with a Cucumber Agua Fresca. The steak was a little too cooked for me, but the Carnitas taco was delicious along with the Al Pastor. The red sauce that came with it was good as well. I enjoyed the addition of the radishes and thought it was quite tasty.
